And I'm working on it. This is taking longer than I'd expected because 
doing it right is going to effect more of JBoss than i'd anticipated 
(and more than I'd really like)

A couple days more and I should have at least a patch for people to 
flame me on.

Having dug through all this code, I believe that the 'fat key' pattern 
will work in JBoss.
