Summary: No Deploy With Passworded Proxy

Initial Comment:
I installed 2.2.2 w/ Tomcat onto a Windows 2000 system
(I have the 2.2.1 sitting in another directory right
beside it). After changing my TOMCAT_HOME to point
correctly to the new version I tried to start it up.

It fails as it goes through deployments of /jboss
and /tomcat-test because it can't retrieve some DTD
files. I assume this is because I am forced to sit
behind a firewall that has more than just an address
and a port, it also requires name and password.

I've tried supplying the proxy address and port by
adding -Dhttp.proxyHost=<servername> -
Dhttp.proxyPort=<port> to the run.bat but it just
fails more quickly (presumably because it goes to the
proxy and then gets rejected immediately because of
lack of name/password rather than just timing out).
Some Java software I've used, like Java Web Start, at
least queries for the name/password to use. It does it
every time I start it up, which is very annoying, but
at least it does it.

I did a grep of the configuration files for JBoss
hoping that there would be a reference to "proxy" but
that came up dry. So how do I deal with this
problem?!? If I change my TOMCAT_HOME to point to the
older JBoss 2.2.1 it doesn't have the problem. Was the
older version not doing validation of XML that
referred to a DTD?
