I copied the 2.2mb cloudscape.jar from %J2EE_HOME%\lib to %JBOSS_HOME% \lib\ext so it would be automatically added to the classpath. After this, I could not create a new xml configuration in ejx using the File:New menu. Loading an xml file using the File:Load menu generates a dialog with the message "Could not load file:null". ejx returned to normal behavior after removing cloudscape.jar from lib\ext. I thought the problem might be memory related since cloudscape.jar is gigantic. I maunally launched the Main.clas directly with java setting -Xms32m and - Xmx256m and got the same behavior.
