|I don't know about datasources.  MBeans that are application dependent (as
|David is saying) are normal and quite common.  Those MBeans can now be
|packaged as a SAR and be managed as part of the application deployment,
|clear, clean.

In other words, that part is actually a valid implementation of a RabbitHole
enabled feature.  Who else can package arbitrary SAR's with an EAR? no-one
that is right, because no-one supports hot redeploy of server parts (do
they?).

This is what we are talking about and the simple reason why it is not a
requirement in J2EE.
