Yup, that is a bit of a pain. Have you guys tried Mozilla lately? It has a demo where they use an XML file that is rendered directly in Mozilla using CSS, i.e. there's no need for an HTML generation step. Just point Mozilla at it, and there it is. Pretty neat.
