At least S2ML was integrated with an LDAP:ish notion of user profile
data. The SAML spec is not yet finished so it is a little hard to tell
what will come out of it. I have mostly read the specs from a
Single-Sign-On perspective and my plan was to integrate with SAML at a
later stage (www.netegrity.com will release a java toolking for SAML and
and jrs 155 is also working with it

Ok, I will do it when I feel its mature enough. Most of the Dir stuff is
derived from the internal sun implementation and to extend the jnp
instead would requre a lot of work, especially for handling the
filtering. But it would be great, I admit.
