I am half-way back and fixed today the bug
with
the Scheduler on RH. Tomorrow I will add it
to
Branch 2.4.
Thanx for all persistent guys pointing to the
exception
which in my tests were missed. I started to
created
a TestSuite for the Scheduler and during January
will
finish it to avoid further bugs like
this.
Also I will make the following
changes:
- if a given time is in the past the Scheduler will
try to
find the next available scheduled date with
respect to
the given parameters (start at the initial
time and check
if there is a date by looping through the
number of occurences
and the period). This will enable a client
to restart JBoss
w/o worring about the Scheduler. NOTE that
then it will
not start IMMEDIATELY when created as it
does now.
- create a new Scheduler wrapper enabling clients
to
specify periods with respect to the calendar
like CRON
