Submitting a story to Slashdot is just as good as writing a script to waste Oracle's add money. People complain that when their site is mentioned on Slashdot, they get overwhelmed by huge numbers of "hits" on their site. "Hit" being webspeak for someone viewing a page at a site, not an assassination or anything violent like that.
