I have just finished a new JCA adapter that allows mutliple EIS's to be used with a single JBoss instance.
The adapter utilizes the security framework and the jca framework. It allows for a user to map themselves to an EIS at runtime without affecting other users running client sessions in the same jboss. The user then can have the ability to change to a different EIS at runtime depending on their public credentials. I modeled this adapter after the JBoss local RAR and enhanced it with a custom mapping login module. Is this something that JBoss wants? I would be willing to clean up the code and donate the new adapter to the project if people want it.
