Thanks for the help regarding the IIOP hang, after changing the port to 8683 JBoss starts up okay. Will Branch_3_0_0 be updated with this fix?
I have a couple of other problems which I thought perhaps someone could help me with, both using the latest source code from CVS (branch Branch_3_0_0). I seem to be suffering from the clustering support hanging on JBoss startup. When this occurs I can't stop JBoss using shutdown or by CTRL-C in the console window. I have to resort to killing CMD or the Java process directly. Which almost always leads to the dreaded JVM_Bind exception. I can turn clustering off, which get's it working but there does seem to be a problem here. On the Cluster Mailing List I've been told that this is possibly due to running on a network that is DHCP'd. We have alot of developers using Windows 2000 and the JVM_Bind problem seems to occurs alot with JBoss.
