Summary: No warning message ejbFindByPrimary

Initial Comment:
OS : Win2k or Linux
JDK : Sun 1.3

When I deploy my entity bean jar, I get many warnings
about the ejbFindByPrimaryKey finders. They always
refer to two sections of code. The two warnings are....

2002-07-29 19:42:20,915 INFO
[org.jboss.ejb.EJBDeployer]
Bean : UserType
Method : public Integer ejbFindByPrimaryKey(Integer)
Section: 9.2.5
Warning: No warning message found, please file a Bug
report.
2002-07-29 19:42:20,916 INFO
[org.jboss.ejb.EJBDeployer]
Bean : UserType
Method : public Integer ejbFindByPrimaryKey(Integer)
Section: 12.2.5
Warning: No warning message found, please file a Bug
report.

Can somebody add messages for these situations?

The warning messages have been fixed in 3.0.1RC1 and contain
the correct warning. The "Section:" output refers to the
appropriate section in the EJB Specification (either 1.1 or
2.0 depending whether you're using CMP 1.1 or 2.0 ). I'll
post the relevant messages here for your convenience:

9.2.5: The method argument types of a finder method must be
legal types for RMI/IIOP.

for 12.2.5. it is any of the below:

12.2.5.a = A finder method must be declared as public.
12.2.5.b = The method must not be declared as final or static.
12.2.5.d = The return type of a finder method must be the
entity bean's primary key type, or a collection of primary
keys (see Specification Section 12.1.7)
12.2.5.e = Every entity bean must define the
ejbFindByPrimaryKey method.
12.2.5.e1 = The result type for the ejbFindByPrimaryKey
method must be the primary key type.
12.2.5.e2 = The ejbFindByPrimaryKey method must be a
single-object finder.

hope this helps,
  christian
