Apple has provided a seed of 1.4.1 to Apple Developer Connection members (it's free for basic access).
The seed details are under NDA, but anyone here that's using OS X and tries it out will want to pass the following parameter as a JAVA_OPT: -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true It will make your life better.
