I'm not an xdoclet user (yet), but may I suggest that the xdoclet parser be modified
to throw an exception (fail) the instant it encounters the first "import...*;"?

I have found that this use of errors to keep the user in line can be quite beneficial.

WIth current xdoclet, you have to be VERY CAREFUL TO IMPORT ALL CLASSES
ONE BY ONE AND NEVER EVER USE A import ...*; Doing this in one class
can easily mess up xdoclets class resolving and result in MANY OTHER
generated classes not fully qualifying their class names. I suspect
this has happened here, but don't have the latest source with me to
        check.
