Summary: Wrong credentials passed to getConnection

Initial Comment:
Hi!

I frequently get the following error (using getConnection
(userName, password)):

"Wrong credentials passed to getConnection!; - nested
throwable: (org.jboss.resource.JBossResourceException:
Wrong credentials passed to getConnection!)"

The next attempt usually works as expected.
This occurs more frequently after an application
redeploy.

JBoss 3.2.3, Oracle XA (9.2.0.4).

Data source configuration:

  <xa-datasource>
    <jndi-name>jdbc/testds</jndi-name>
    <track-connection-by-tx>true</track-connection-by-
tx>
    <isSameRM-override-value>false</isSameRM-override-
value>
    <xa-datasource-
class>oracle.jdbc.xa.client.OracleXADataSource</xa-
datasource-class>
    <xa-datasource-property
name="URL">jdbc:oracle:thin:@server1:1521:a</xa-
datasource-property>
    <min-pool-size>1</min-pool-size>
    <max-pool-size>10</max-pool-size>
    <idle-timeout-minutes>10</idle-timeout-minutes>
    <application-managed-security>true</application-
managed-security>
    <!-- Uses the pingDatabase method to check a
connection is still valid before handing it out from the
pool -->
    <valid-connection-checker-class-
name>org.jboss.resource.adapter.jdbc.vendor.OracleValid
ConnectionChecker</valid-connection-checker-class-
name>
    <!-- Checks the Oracle error codes and messages for
fatal errors -->
    <exception-sorter-class-
name>org.jboss.resource.adapter.jdbc.vendor.OracleExce
ptionSorter</exception-sorter-class-name>
  </xa-datasource>

Any ideas?

And the applications use separate classloaders...
jboss-app.xml:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<jboss-app>
   <loader-repository>foo.bar:loader=test.ear</loader-

Forget about my initial comment that this occurs more
frequently after a redeploy.

Observed behaviour:

My system consists of two applications (ear-files), both using
the same data source.
If I only invoke beans in the first application I never get the
error, however, when I invoke methods in the second
application after first invoking the first application I get the
error (every time a pooled connection that was previously
used by the first application is reused?)

Add the exception stack trace as an attachment. This occurs
when the properties coming in on the connection request do
not match those on the previously used connection.
