I had the same problem. The experts find it probably too obvious to answer: ;-)
I assume Eclipse 3.0:
Try
Eclipse
-> help
-> Software Updates
-> Find and Install
-> "Search for New Features to Install"
-> Add update site
-> Name: EclipseIDE
URL: http://jboss.sourceforge.net/jbosside/updates/plugins/
-> from there merely select the version you want.
(But I did not get any further. I can see now JBoss IDE in Windows - Preferences, but
can not do anything further. Perhaps I learn more in the future
