Yes,

client-side deployment is something we have not yet catered too much. IÂm sorry for 
that. But you could have a look at our testsuite (there is an abstract TestBase class 
in which we use special axis-client.xml descriptors in order to setup small client 
processes) how to do that descriptively.

With the advent of WSEE (JSR109) we will provide an extension to the JBoss client 
deployer which does something like that. Maybe we will have a look at using the axis 
configuration engine for that purpose, such that you could easily get your service 
stubs configured and bound into the client environment.
