Better integration with ant. I want to be able to generate a standalone ant build file from an eclipse project.
I want to massage an external ant build file *once* and be able to import it into eclipse project. I mention this,because it affects the various eclipse plugins as well as the core eclipse project. I believe this is being considered in some form (especially eclipse project to ant file) by ibm. Laurent please email me for contact details. Basically many open source projects come with ant build files (ant more pervasive than eclipse) and it's a pain to maintain the eclipse project and the ant build file. Compared to the sophisication of refactoring and code assist (for example) ant integration is sorely wanting. I have posted on this before.
