Category: JBoss-IDE Group: v3.2 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Rob Steinberger (rsteinberger) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Generated ant files should not have hard coded paths. Initial Comment: Both xdoclet-build.xml and packaging-build.xml use absolute paths instead of project related paths. This makes it difficult to share projects using source control (especially ClearCase which embeds view names, which must be unique, into the path). Additionally, in order to build these files the .xdoclet and .packaging files must be writable even though nothing is written to them. If all that is required is a rebuild of the ant files, the requirement for write access is a bit of overkill. Could you address these two problems? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=376688&aid=923191&group_id=22866 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
