We need to merge the two different implementations of jca in the 3.2.x and jboss4 series. The spec does allow a JCA1.5 implementation in a j2ee1.3 server
The key part are the changes to the transaction manager. These need properly stress testing before they are applied to jboss-3.2.x 1) Last Resource Gambit - and associated refactoring 2) Transaction inflow - XATerminator implementation The jdbc resource adapters are also out of synch.
