I have some utility beans that basically performs the following
1. introspecting the session bean classes and generates the required XML for AOP
pre-compilation.
2. Ability to lookup a session bean and attach/detach interceptor bindings on it at
run-time. ( I use a combination of AspectManager.addBinding() and removeBinding()
calls)
On running a test case that basically does (1) , deploys the AOPized EAR package and
then does a little bit of attach and detaching (2) of interceptors to assert
interception of session bean methods, I get the following NPE when invoking the
session bean after attaching an interceptor to one of its methods. But this exception
is not encountered on restarting the JBoss AS after deploying the AOPized EAR file.
I'm using 3.2.3 and I added the DR4 version of jboss-aop.jar, javassist.jar to
run.bat. I don't quite recall seeing this error in DR3.
