I have just switched from JBoss 2.4.3 to JBoss 3.2 and I am using an "Exploded EAR"
structure (directories that are named with .ear, .war, and .jar extenstions).

I notice that everytime I restart JBoss the compiled JSPs are deleted from the work
directories. This is pretty annoying during development (I have to wait for them to
recompile as I navigate thru the application).

Is there a setting (or some other facility) that I can use to prevent this type of
behaviour?

Thanks in advance.
