I posted a similar question in the Users forum asking if it's possible to have an alert fire on the result of an operation instead of just an attribute, and I didn't get any response, so I'm assuming I cannot currently do that...
So I'll shift my focus here to development -- if I were to add this functionality to JBoss myself, where is the code located for the Alerts? Browsing CVS, I was not able to find it in any of the packages. Also, is there a compelling reason that this shouldn't be done? I understand that it is a potentially dangerous thing do enable, but on the other hand, when used wisely it could be very powerful as well.
