The Xdoclet generated valueObjects have all these xxxHasBeenSet methods, but they 
never seem to get used, (except that they are judiciously set when a setter is called 
on the VO).

In the XDoclet genrated CMP code, why doesn't the setxxxValue(ValueObject xxx) method 
check the hasBeenSet methods of the VO, before setting the VO's values into the CMP?

so instead of something like this:
setFileName( valueHolder.getFileName() );

one might  expect

if (valueHolder.fileNameHasBeenSet() ) setFileName(...
so that only the values that are actually set get persisted...

There's probably a good reason, something that I'm missing here?
