Hi: I am new to application server stuff and needs some help. We currently has some web pages (exposed to external parties) written in ASP (which only connects to local MS SQL database, and do a daily data reload). We need to expand this web functions to allow on-line query (and some minor updates) of our Oracle and AS400 production databases hiding behind the firewall. The restriction is that the web front-end will remain as ASP running under Windows. I plan to put JBoss 4.0 in HP-UX 11i as our application server, and exposing the required web services to be used by the ASP pages. After reviewing the samples shown in 'Getting Started with JBoss', I am still not sure how this will work ? Or should I do this differently ?
Thanks for any ideas .
