@ejb.ejb-local-ref should finally work within session and entity beans in xdoclet version 1.2.2.
However, if you try to use this tag from a message driven bean you still loose without patching xdoclet. I don't know if this hindered the xdoclet guys to fix this problem for mbeans, but although <ejb-local-ref> is supported for mbeans, why isn't it listed in the "Overview of the architecture of jboss.xml" in jboss_3_2.dtd and jboss_4_0.dtd? Maybe if one of the JBoss guys ever reads this, he/she should take a look towards solving that issue regarding the DT definition files. Actually that should be fixed in a few minutes, shouldn't it?
