         Key: JBAS-1281
         URL: http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBAS-1281
     Project: JBoss Application Server
        Type: Bug
  Components: JCA service
    Versions: JBossAS-4.0.1 Final
 Environment: Java version: 1.5.0,Sun Microsystems Inc.
Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM 1.5.0-b64,Sun Microsystems Inc.
OS-System: Linux 2.4.21-4.EL,i386

    Reporter: Michael Kopp
 Assigned to: Scott M Stark
    Priority: Minor

I originally reported this at the sourceforge tracking system.

Bug Entry:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=22866&atid=376685&func=detail&aid=1070345
Topic Entry: http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=56558

It was closed and said to be fixed in 4.0.1RC2.

I now open it again here as the problem still persists in 4.0.1 final.

I have three rar archives in my application, each of them leaves the management
bean:

J2EEApplication=ftisoft.app.ear,J2EEServer=Local,ResourceAdapterModule=ftisoft.engine.rar,j2eeType=ResourceAdapter,name=Engine
 Adapter
J2EEApplication=ftisoft.app.ear,J2EEServer=Local,ResourceAdapterModule=ftisoft.filesystem.rar,j2eeType=ResourceAdapter,name=FTI
 Filesystem Adapter
J2EEApplication=ftisoft.app.ear,J2EEServer=Local,ResourceAdapterModule=ftisoft.translator.rar,j2eeType=ResourceAdapter,name=MSF
 Translation Adapter

I have two (configured) instances of the filesystem adapter and only one them
leaves:

J2EEServer=Local,JCAResource=ftisoft/adapters/filesystem/ftp,j2eeType=JCAConnectionFactory,name=ftisoft/adapters/filesystem/ftp
J2EEServer=Local,ResourceAdapter=FTI Filesystem
Adapter,j2eeType=JCAResource,name=ftisoft/adapters/filesystem/ftp
J2EEServer=Local,j2eeType=JCAManagedConnectionFactory,name=ftisoft/adapters/filesystem/ftp

I cannot see why.
