In the academic environment I work in, it is often not possible or suitable to 
work based on default browser preferences, because even though our student 
population is multi-national, the workstation installations are not 
pre-configured to support mulpiple languages (well not in such a way to 
accomodate lay-computer users easily anyway).

And so myrequest is (knowing that nukes supports many languages), could we make 
this a user selectable option in their preferences (or even better, on the main 
page, overiding the browser default)?

OR

Would this be possible through the API with a custom block?
