Tomcat 4.x is no longer developed/supported by the Jakarta development team. So there is no point in having your web apps stuck to TC 4.x
Can you tell me why your app does not work on TC 5? What features of TC 4.x did you app marry into? In the long run, your web apps should be as portable as possible.
