I agreed with Bill that we would take the AOP integration in baby steps (i.e. incrementally), starting with the ClassAdapter/instance advisor which is the main plumbing rather than trying to implement everything at once. It was know at the time that Bill has other commitments, like three upcoming conferences to prepare for, so it would be difficult for him to get it finished.
