InvocationResponse is only used by distributed object protocols.

invocation.invokeNext() returns the autoboxed form of the return type.

so, if the method is:

public boolean mymethod()


You could typecast invocation.invokeNext();

Object obj = invocation.invokeNext();
Boolean b = (Boolean)obj;
