Shihan, with regards to the 4.0.1 deployment the errors you are seeing regarding hibernate may be due to several reasons:
1. make sure the portal-ds.xml is deployed. 2. make sure you copied over jgroups.jar, jboss-cache.jar, and jboss-remoting.jar over from /all/lib. to /default/lib/.
