Ok, let's break configuration and compatibility flags apart then as there seem to be a few configuration issues that are not compatibility issues.
If the ClientAddress was dropped then clearly this has to be flagged as a compatibility issue. As it stands now, I can see the argument for marking this as a compatibility issue, but I really want the compatibility flag to mark something that must be looked at, and there should not be many of these issues. > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On > Behalf Of Adrian Brock > Sent: Tuesday, August 09, 2005 10:32 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [JBoss-dev] Use of Compatibility/Configuration > flag on jiraissues > > Yes, that is what I want to do. > > I want to highlight that people using > ClientAddress should switch to ConnectAddress because > ClientAddress could be removed in a future release. > > ClientAddress still exists for backwards compatibility (for now). > ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ JBoss-Development mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jboss-development
