Shame on me, shame on me ... forget the whole story. My PATH environment
variable was set wrong after I installed the latest JDK. Everything
compiled prefectly after correcting the variable.
Sorry for wasting your time... (It's interesting how new ideas to solve a
problem will popup when having someone to discuss with.)
