I just took a production app here at the cdc that's been running like a rock with standard 1.2.2 and tried running it with current prod release of 1.3 from Sun (all on WinNT) and it crashed within 10 minutes. It's all backend, no screen, no gui app. That surprised me. I've been experimenting with IBM's Linux 1.3 on my Linux system (RH 6.2 w/ stock 2.2.14 kernel, kde 1.90) and it crashes within an hour or so, but those have been gui apps and I know gui's harder to get right.
