Don't get me wrong - I wish they would be more open about their use of the
product, but that's one of the things that go with open source - letting
people use it without having to contribute anything. Would be nice to know
how they plan to use it though :) But from what I have been able to
ascertain, they are just going to be a bean host and not much more :/

Well, there's two things. One is active contribution. In general you're
correct; not everyone will be able to contribute. However, Verge is a
reasonably sized company claiming to be "EJB experts", and thus should
be able to add som valuable insights.

The other would be if they would at least tell us what they're doing
with jBoss. I for one would be interested to hear what they're doing
with it. They could have talked to us at J1. They could have sent some
notice to these lists. Or to the board. Anything really. But there's
been nothing of that kind.
