I was wondering about that as I am using JDK 1.3 and checked to see if
javax.naming was in rt.jar.  I was actually getting the old ZOLA shopping
cart example working with Tomcat and that of course added quite a few new
problems.  On a separate note I was also wondering about jnp.properties, but
if you change the JNDI port from 1099 the whole thing goes to hell, so no
need to worry about that little baby

jndi.jar is not required if you're using JDK1.3.
