Consider yourself being cheered.  I trying desperately to get JBOSS
working with PostgreSQL.  I have two companies that will use it in
production.  One will use it as an alternative to Weblogic (for
customers that can't afford $$Weblogic$$).  The other company I'm
acting as CTO and would rather use an open source tool than
closed.

My only gripe is the documentation.  My biggest pet peeve is not
that documentation is missing, but when its wrong.  JBoss seems
to be changing so fast that the documentation isn't keeping up.
Even after reading the list archives for a week, I'm not finding
the information I need to use PostgreSQL.  When I do figure it
out, I'll write a HOW-TO and submit it, but with the latest build
out of CVS the CD-example broke (I posted that yesterday).
