Hi there,

I went to get PR4 from the binary page, only to find PR3. I installed it
anyway. I went to run Tomcat. I have Tomcat installed in:

e:\apache\jakarta-tomcat

First of all... the documentation says that Tomcat is started by default.
This is not true, as the MLET tag for Tomcat is actually not in the
jBoss.conf file. I added it in.

So I have the following environment variables set:

TOMCAT_HOME=e:\apache\jakarta-tomcat
SERVLETAPI_HOME=e:\apache\jakarta-tomcat
CLASSPATH=j:\jdk1.3\lib\tools.jar;e:\apache\jakarta-tomcat\lib\jasper.jar;e:
\apache\jakarta-tomcat\lib\servlet.jar;e:\apache\jakarta-tomcat\lib\webserve
r.jar;e:\apache\jakarta-tomcat\lib\xml.jar

If I don't put the Tomcat files in the CLASSPATH, Tomcat won't run. The
documentation page in the binary, however, doesn't say I need this.

My question then is have I made a mistake with my TOMCAT_HOME and
SERVLETAPI_HOME variables or is the documentation wrong?

Peter.
