no I haven't really agreed to this :)))....

However I have agreed to:

1- start JCTS project , I still don't know how to use that or if it is
equivalent, or where it's at.
2- We have had bad surprises with recent changes without test (remember?) so
I put the test there... if someone wants to change the code base, you go
ahead and test before commit, please.

JCTS is necessary, but until I have a complete or at least equivalent test
suite there is no way I can work. And I need to be done with this code base
in 10 days :))))) TestBeans is a reliable work-horse that has uncovered
about 60 bugs, some truly deep (like the recent cache misses). That's why I
put it there, it is not a panacea, although with close to 100 tests it is
fairly complete. I know that if I don't put it there, you guys don't test
your changes, and we have the situation we had 2 month ago, where jboss2 was
a hodgepodge of un-tested, partially designed and integrated code :( (credit
where credit is due: the container interceptor and plugin layout has stood
my relentless banging, it hasn't moved :)))))))
