Yep, did that.  Still doesn't want to work.  It does seem to find the
../conf/ directory once I get the user.dir setting in there, but some of
the JDBC setup fails when it cannot find ../log/trace.log (the file *is*
there), the Hypersonic DB refuses connection, and most distressing is
that Autodeployer responds that it cannot autodeploy ../deploy/. 
Therefore, none of my beans get deployed.  Lastly, at the very end of
the initialization logging it reports that there is a class cast
exception: javax.management.MBeanRegistrationException.  I should
mention that indeed the server is up and running, but I cannot deploy
anything.  I would paste in the output from the JBuilder log if JBuilder
would allow me to copy it (must be my inexperience with this IDE -
doesn't seem right that they would not support this).  Any other clues
or things to look at in JBuilder that might help?
