Are you using bean managed persistence or container managed persistence
for the entity bean?  My thinking would be if you had bean managed
persistence then the container would have to call your ejbFindXXX method
but in container managed persistence there should be no reason to as the
finder is defined in the XML.

Hi,

I am using jboss2 on NT with jdk 1.3.
My client application has no problems to create and make remote calls on
session beans, this session bean can call remote methods on an entity bean
(which does not help), but when invoking findByPrimaryKey, the
ejbFindByPrimaryKey method is not invoked.
It looks like no ejbXXX method is invoked on the bean implementation by
the
container.
Any suggestions?
The two beans are in the same jar file and in the same package.
In the ejb-jar.xml and the jboss.xml I added the ejb-ref information.

Any help will be greatly appreciated,
