Andrew,   I just checked the TestBeans BMP tests and it does call it properly when the Tx is present and commited.   Do check the server logs on the TestBeanClient run and you will see   [nextgen.EntityBMP] TX_REQUIRED for callBusinesMethodA [BMP] begin tx ... ...
