I am fairly new to JBoss and haven't looked at the low level RMI protocol source yet, but does anyone know how hard it would be to introduce a custom RMI Socket Server/Client in JBoss. I have an application where I need to run a EJB App Server through a tight 2 sided firewall. The only way I know I can do that is to use a custom RMI Server or the RMI CGI/bin. What type of protocol does JBoss user for EJBs and its JNDI?
