Hi,
I've written a test for your database settings. This test is a CMP
entity which has a cmp-field for (nearly) every possible jdbc type. The
idea is that you run the tests, and you post your settings so that we
can include them in the distribution.
To give it a try, follow the steps:
1- get jboss
2- get the test: check out cvs module jbosstest, or download the zip:
http://www.jboss.org/zip_archives/jbosstest-cvs-sources.zip
3- setup your database settings: jdbc driver in lib/ext,
jboss.properties, jboss.conf, jboss.jcml, and jaws.xml in
jbosstest/src/resources/dbtest/META-INF/jaws.xml. Follow the
instructions on the manual:

4- build the test: go to jbosstest/src/build, and run build.sh /
build.bat
5- start jboss
6- run the test: go to jbosstest/dist/bin, and run dbtest.sh /
dbtest.bat
7- if it runs, please report it (the test will show what to report), if
not go to step 3 :)
