sure is this integration finished?

do people use jetty ? Does it work intra VM?

we are redoing the website in the background and we will put up a new "3rd
party" sub-section as it seems that JMX integration buys integration by the
pound and we are seeing more and more independently developed code
integrated...

thanks let us know

|Subject: [jBoss-User] JBoss/Jetty integration...
|I just sent the following message to jboss-user and jetty-discuss - it
|bounced because I had attached a small file. If anyone would like the
|attachment please contact me directly. If there is too much interest(!)
|I shall have to ask the JBoss guys if they would mind putting it on
|their site somewhere....

|I have been quietly working away at a JBoss-Jetty integration package.
|JBoss (www.jboss.org) is a pure-java, open-source EJB server.
|Jetty (jetty.mortbay.com) is a pure-java, open-source
|WebServer/ServletContainer.
|JBoss provides intra-vm integration for a simple WebServer and TomCat
|(It's chosen ServletContainer - http://www.jboss.org/tomcat.htm).
|It occurred to me that both of these roles could be fulfilled by Jetty,
|which whilst maintaining the advantages of running these three services
|in the same vm, would perhaps offer a closer integration of WebServer
|and ServletContainer.
|Anyway, I enclose a small amount of code and instructions with which,
|and a small amount of know how, you should be able to hook JBoss2 and
|Jetty3 (latest from CVS at sourceforge) happily together.
|If there is sufficient pickup, I would be interested in maintaining this
|as a JBoss module, so don't be shy - let me know if you use it and what
|you think.....
|Enjoy,
|Jules
|P.S.
|Apologies for posting a 14k enclosure - I figure it's small enough not
|to break anyone's modem !
