Hi,
I've checked in the new version of the tomcat service. This allows fast
communication between servlets and ejbs, by bypassing the rmi overhead.
For this, you need tomcat 3.2b4+. It won't work with 3.1, and due to
changes in the interfaces, it doesn't work (yet) with 3.3x.
It is in the contrib module in CVS, and will probably be in the next
binary. Follow the instructions in the README file. I have included an
example (servlet + ejb) as well.
