In then end, I'm not sure I can attribute any jBoss problems to
Red Hat 7. I ended up reverting back to 6.2 because Oracle definitely
won't run on 7, and I had some unrelated problems with 7. Though, now
that I think about it, I think some of the JDKs didn't work with the
initial Red Hat 7 install. One of the updates on the Red Hat site has
since allegedly addressed that (an updated glibc, IIRC).
Personally, I'm pretty disappointed with Red Hat 7, but I think
that with all the current updates you should be able to run jBoss on it
without problems.
