Here's a weird question: Would it be possible to add an adapter or
MBEAN or something to jBoss to allow running of apps specifically
targeted at the reference implementation of J2EE to run _without_
modification?

Given the admirable and atttractive ease-of-use goals of jBoss, it would
seem a good fit.

I have no idea what it would take; I remember from RMH's book lots of
examples of code for different app servers, this seems contrary to the
portability goals of EJB. Is there any way to write some sort of
interceptor or something?

Thanks,

Tim
