Still get the MarshalledObject exception --- shouldn't jboss-client be dynamically downloaded anyway? In any case, I am using the jboss-client.jar that is with the server -- so it should be the same rev as the server (I'm SMB mounted onto the linux box, so this will always stay up to date). I'm using a CVS snapshot of the server from a few days ago--I replace the entire jboss directory any time I upgrade, so everything should be up to date.

Does EJX have jboss-client.jar? If so you will want to upgrade it to the
latest version.
