This is a little off topic, but since this list is full of great minds.......
Does anybody know why it takes so long to call request.getSession() the
first time after jBoss/tomcat is restarted? After the initial startup, I
can create, invalidate, and use sessions very rapidly, but not the first
time. I'm using Jboss_PROD_PRE_04 and tomcat 3.2b6
